BBQ Beef Hawaiian Sliders (Print Format)

01 - 4-5 pounds chuck roast
02 - Favorite BBQ rub
03 - Apple cider vinegar for spritzing and additional 1/4 cup
04 - 3 large onions, chopped
05 - 5 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 2 cups beef broth
07 - King's Hawaiian sweet rolls
08 - 6 slices pepper jack cheese
09 - BBQ sauce
10 - Shredded cheddar cheese

# Steps:

01 - Apply mustard on chuck roast as a binder and season with BBQ rub.
02 - Preheat smoker to 250°F with hickory wood chunks.
03 - Smoke chuck roast, spritzing with apple cider vinegar every 30-40 minutes until it reaches 165°F (about 3 hours).
04 - Place chopped onions and minced garlic in an aluminum pan. Add smoked chuck roast, beef broth, and additional apple cider vinegar. Cover with foil.
05 - Return the pan to the smoker and cook until the meat is tender.
06 - Remove the chuck roast and let it rest for 30-45 minutes.
07 - Toast King's Hawaiian sweet rolls until slightly crisp.
08 - Shred the beef and assemble sliders with pepper jack cheese, shredded beef, BBQ sauce, and shredded cheddar cheese. Cap with the top half of the rolls.
09 - Bake assembled sliders at 415°F for 12-15 minutes.
10 - Serve sliders with pan liquid as a dipping sauce.
