BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders (Print Format)

Smoky pork, crisp bacon, cheddar, and a sweet glaze fill soft Hawaiian rolls for savory mini sandwiches.

# Ingredients:

→ Sliders

01 - 12 Hawaiian slider rolls
02 - 2 tablespoons butter
03 - 1 pound pulled pork
04 - 2/3 cup barbecue sauce
05 - 6 slices white cheddar cheese
06 - 1/2 pound bacon, chopped into 2-3 inch pieces

→ Glaze

07 - 3 tablespoons butter, melted
08 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar
09 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
10 - 1 teaspoon minced garlic

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F.
02 - Place slider rolls on a baking sheet and cut in half. Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on both the top and bottom halves of the slider rolls. Place in the oven for a few minutes until bread is lightly browned.
03 - Warm pulled pork with barbecue sauce in a pan.
04 - Spread the warmed pulled pork mixture evenly across the bottom halves of the slider rolls. Add slices of cheddar cheese evenly on top of the pulled pork. Sprinkle chopped bacon evenly over the cheese.
05 - Place the top halves of the slider rolls onto the prepared sandwiches.
06 - Melt butter and stir in brown sugar, Italian seasoning, and minced garlic until thoroughly combined.
07 - Spoon the prepared glaze evenly over the slider rolls. Bake for 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops of the buns are lightly browned.

# Tips:

01 - Do not separate the sliders during preparation. Keeping them attached ensures quicker assembly and even baking.
02 - Browning the bread enhances flavor and reduces sogginess.
03 - These sliders are best enjoyed straight from the oven for optimal taste and texture.
