Breakfast Bagel Bacon Egg (Print Format)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 whole bagel
02 - 2 slices bacon, cooked and halved
03 - 1 slice cheese (American, Colby, or Swiss)
04 - 1 tablespoon mayo or cream cheese (optional)

→ Scramble Egg Mixture

05 - 2 large eggs
06 - 1 tablespoon whole milk
07 - 3 teaspoons chopped green onion (optional)
08 - ¼ teaspoon salt
09 - ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
10 - Oil or butter for sautéing

# Steps:

01 - Heat a skillet on medium-high heat. Once heated, add the sliced bacon to the skillet. Cook on medium heat for 4 minutes, flip, and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes or until desired crispiness is reached. Remove from the skillet and place on a paper-towel-lined plate. Cover with foil.
02 - In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and green onion.
03 - Spray a medium skillet with baking spray and heat on medium heat. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and cover with a lid for 1 minute. Flip the egg using a large spatula and fold the egg into a square to fit on the bagel. Add the cheese slice on top, turn off the heat, and cover with a lid to allow the cheese to melt.
04 - Toast the bagel and add desired spreads. Assemble the sandwich by layering the cooked bacon and cheesy egg onto the bagel. Close the sandwich and serve with preferred dipping sauces.
