Breakfast Crescent Rolls Fast (Print Format)

# Ingredients:

01 - 5 large eggs
02 - Salt and pepper to taste
03 - 8 ounce tube refrigerated crescent rolls
04 - 8 fully cooked breakfast sausage links
05 - 4 slices American cheese

# Steps:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F.
02 - In a small bowl, beat eggs together well. Reserve 2 tablespoons of beaten eggs for brushing the tops of crescent rolls later.
03 - Scramble the remaining eggs, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
04 - Unroll crescent roll dough onto a work surface and separate it into 8 triangles.
05 - Cut the slices of American cheese in half and place one half on each triangle.
06 - Top each triangle with a spoonful of scrambled eggs and one sausage link.
07 - Loosely roll up the crescent rolls and place them on an ungreased cookie sheet.
08 - Brush the reserved beaten egg on top of each crescent roll. Sprinkle freshly ground black pepper over each.
09 - Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown, then serve.
