03 - Generously brush one side of 2 pieces of bread with the butter mixture and place them butter side down in the skillet.
04 - Spread 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on each bread slice in the skillet. Layer with 1 slice of provolone, 1/4 cup mozzarella, 12 slices of pepperoni, another 1/4 cup mozzarella, and a second slice of provolone. Top with another slice of bread, buttered side up.
05 - Cook each sandwich for 3 to 4 minutes per side, monitoring closely to prevent burning.
06 - Slice each sandwich in half and serve while hot.

# Tips:

01 - Let the cheese sit at room temperature for 15 to 20 minutes before assembling sandwiches for better melting.
02 - A panini press can be used instead of a skillet for grilling.
03 - Adjust the skillet temperature as needed to prevent burning.
