Steak with Shrimp Lobster Sauce (Print Format)

Juicy filet mignon paired with rich shrimp and lobster cream sauce for an unforgettable meal.

# Ingredients:

→ Steak

01 - 4 filet mignon steaks
02 - Salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder
03 - 1 tbsp olive oil
04 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter
05 - 3 garlic cloves
06 - 2 thyme sprigs

→ Sauce

07 - 2 lobster tails, shelled and cubed
08 - 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
09 - All-purpose seasoning (or salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika)
10 - 1 tbsp olive oil
11 - 8 tbsp unsalted butter (divided)
12 - ½ cup dry white wine
13 - ½ cup clam juice
14 - 1 cup heavy cream

# Steps:

01 - Season steaks generously with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.
02 - Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steaks for 2 minutes, then add 2 tbsp butter, garlic, and thyme.
03 - Cook steaks for another 3 minutes, flip, and cook 4 more minutes. Reduce heat to medium, baste with butter until 5°F below desired internal temperature. Let steaks rest for 10 minutes.
04 - Season shrimp with all-purpose seasoning.
05 - In the skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter. Sear shrimp for 2-3 minutes, then remove from skillet.
06 - Add 1 tbsp butter to the skillet, sauté lobster until pink, and remove from skillet.
07 - Add 6 tbsp butter to the skillet. Pour in white wine and clam juice, then bring to a simmer.
08 - Whisk in heavy cream and add seasonings. Simmer for 10 minutes until thickened.
09 - Return shrimp and lobster to the skillet and simmer for 2 minutes.
10 - Serve the sauce over the prepared steaks.
