Texas Toast Pizza Air Fryer (Print Format)

Quick air fryer mini pizzas using Texas toast as the base. Crispy, cheesy, and ready in under 20 minutes.

# Ingredients:

→ Pizza Base

01 - 8 slices Texas toast garlic bread
02 - ½ cup pizza sauce

→ Toppings Galore

03 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
04 - 80 mini pepperoni slices (about 10 per pizza)

# Steps:

01 - Put half of your Texas toast slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You might need to work in batches depending on your air fryer size. Pop some parchment paper down for easier cleanup if you want!
02 - Air fry at 360°F for 3 minutes to lightly toast the bread. You want it golden but not too crispy since we're adding more cooking time later.
03 - Spread 1-2 spoonfuls of pizza sauce on each toasted slice. Don't go too heavy or it'll make the bread soggy - just enough to cover nicely.
04 - Top each piece with a generous handful of mozzarella cheese and about 10 mini pepperoni slices. Don't be shy with the cheese - that's where the magic happens!
05 - Lower the temperature to 300°F and cook for 3 minutes to get that cheese nice and melty. This gentler heat keeps everything from burning while the cheese does its thing.
06 - Crank it up to 400°F and air fry for another 2 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden brown. Keep an eye on them so they don't get too dark!
07 - Take out your first batch and repeat the whole process with the remaining slices. Serve these crispy, cheesy beauties while they're hot and the cheese is still stretchy!

# Tips:

01 - These mini pizzas are like the perfect fusion of garlic bread and pizza - crispy, cheesy, and absolutely irresistible!
02 - Great for kids' lunches, after-school snacks, or when you want pizza flavors without the fuss of making dough.
03 - Feel free to get creative with toppings - try mushrooms, bell peppers, or whatever pizza toppings your family loves.
