Bacon Cheeseburger Pinwheels (Print Format)

Golden baked pinwheels filled with seasoned beef, bacon, and melted cheese in flaky crescent dough.

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 8 oz crescent dough sheet or crescent rolls with seams pinched together

→ Protein

02 - ¾ lb lean ground beef
03 - ½ cup cooked real bacon pieces

→ Vegetables & Aromatics

04 - 1 medium onion, diced
05 - 1 teaspoon minced garlic

→ Dairy

06 - 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

→ Seasonings

07 - Salt, to taste
08 - Pepper, to taste

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
02 - In a medium skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef, diced onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper, breaking up the meat until browned and no longer pink. Drain excess grease if necessary.
03 - Unroll the crescent dough sheet onto a large cutting board, ensuring seams are pressed together if using crescent rolls.
04 - Evenly sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and bacon pieces over the dough, then spread the cooked beef mixture on top.
05 - Starting from one end, roll the dough tightly into a log. Using a sharp knife, slice into 12 even pinwheels and arrange flat on a baking sheet.
06 - Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown.
07 - Serve warm with ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, or preferred burger condiments.

# Tips:

01 - Use sharp cheddar for optimal melting and flavor. Press seams of crescent rolls firmly if substituting for sheets to prevent filling leakage.
