Sweet Bacon Brussels Sprouts (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 strips of bacon.
02 - 1/3 cup of dried cranberries.
03 - 1 small yellow onion, diced.
04 - 6 cups of halved Brussels sprouts.
05 - 1/4 cup of granulated sugar.
06 - 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
07 - 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar.
08 - 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.
09 - 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
10 - 1/2 teaspoon of salt.

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on and heat it up to 400°F.
02 - In a mixing bowl, toss together the Brussels sprouts, olive oil, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
03 - Spread the seasoned sprouts on a baking sheet. Toss them halfway while roasting for 20 minutes.
04 - Fry the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Let it cool, then break it into small pieces.
05 - Using the same skillet, sauté the chopped onions in the bacon fat for 3 to 4 minutes.
06 - Add sugar, vinegar, and cranberries to the onions. Let it boil, then simmer for another 4-5 minutes.
07 - Move the roasted Brussels sprouts to a dish. Stir in the cranberry-onion mixture thoroughly.
08 - Add the bacon crumbles on top, and serve it warm.
