Bacon Mac Cheese Wrap (Print Format)

Hearty beef, smoky bacon, creamy macaroni, and cheddar cheese bundled in a soft tortilla for satisfying handheld bites.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Filling

01 - 1 lb ground beef
02 - 4.2 oz cooked bacon, crumbled
03 - 8 oz cooked macaroni, drained
04 - 4 oz shredded cheddar cheese

→ Wrap

05 - 4 large flour tortillas
06 - Lettuce leaves, as desired

# Steps:

01 - Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook, stirring frequently, until no pink remains and beef is evenly browned, about 8 minutes. Drain excess fat and remove from heat.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine the hot beef, crumbled bacon, cooked macaroni, and shredded cheddar cheese. Gently fold the mixture until ingredients are evenly incorporated and cheese begins to melt.
03 - Place each tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spoon a generous portion of the filling mixture into the center. Add lettuce leaves if using. Fold in the sides and roll tightly to secure the filling.
04 - Cut each wrap in half on the diagonal using a sharp knife and serve immediately while warm for optimal melting and texture.

# Tips:

01 - For best results, use freshly shredded cheddar cheese to enhance melting. Allow the filling to cool slightly before wrapping to prevent soggy tortillas. Optionally, brush wraps lightly with oil and toast in a skillet for a crispy crust. Wraps can be refrigerated up to three days or frozen for two months.
