Sweet Bacon Carrots (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound bacon, sliced thin.
02 - 2 pounds of carrots, peeled and under half an inch thick.
03 - 4 tablespoons of maple syrup.

# Instructions:

01 - Set the oven to 400°F to heat up.
02 - Take each carrot and roll it in a bacon strip, starting from its thicker end.
03 - Put a wire rack on top of a baking sheet for airflow.
04 - Cook for about 25 minutes, until the bacon looks like it’s starting to crisp.
05 - Coat every side with maple syrup using a brush.
06 - Bake for another 8-10 minutes until the bacon turns crispy and golden.
07 - Eat while it’s still warm.

# Notes:

01 - Thin bacon crisps up better.
02 - Sprinkle on cayenne or brown sugar for more flavor.
03 - Store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
04 - Slice thick carrots in two to cook evenly.
05 - A wire rack ensures all-around cooking.
