# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
02 - 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
03 - 8 slices white bread, preferably stale
04 - 8 slices bacon, cooked
05 - 4 eggs
06 - 1/2 cup milk
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
08 - 4 teaspoons butter
09 - vegetable oil

# Steps:

01 - In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese and brown sugar until evenly combined.
02 - Spread one side of each slice of bread with the cream cheese mixture. Sandwich 2 slices of bacon between 2 pieces of bread with the cream cheese sides facing in. Repeat to assemble a total of four sandwiches.
03 - In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
04 - Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, ensuring only the exterior of the bread is coated to avoid sogginess.
05 - Heat a large nonstick pan or griddle over medium heat. Add butter and a small amount of vegetable oil. Cook each sandwich until golden brown on one side, then flip and repeat. Add more butter and oil to the pan as needed.
06 - Cut each sandwich in half and serve with maple syrup if desired.

# Tips:

01 - Use stale bread to help the sandwiches hold their structure and prevent them from becoming too soggy.
02 - Ensure the bacon is fully cooked before assembling the sandwiches for consistent results.
