01 -
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, paprika, minced onion, Worcestershire sauce, eggs, breadcrumbs, and ketchup. Mix until just combined, avoiding overmixing.
02 -
Add shredded cheddar cheese to the center of the mixture as you form it into a loaf approximately 3 inches thick, or mix the cheese directly into the meat mixture if preferred.
03 -
Lay 2-3 strips of bacon lengthwise over the loaf and 6-8 strips crosswise, overlapping edges slightly and tucking ends under the loaf to secure.
04 -
Place the bacon-wrapped meatloaf onto nonstick foil or perforated parchment inside the air fryer basket. Cook at 350°F on the air fry setting for 40 minutes.
05 -
While the meatloaf cooks, combine ketchup, steak sauce, and brown sugar in a small bowl to create the glaze.
06 -
After 40 minutes, brush the glaze over the top of the bacon and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (or 165°F for poultry).
07 -
Let the meatloaf rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing and serving with your favorite sides.
08 -
Preheat oven to 350°F. Place the meatloaf in a loaf pan or on a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake for 1 hour. Apply glaze and bake for an additional 20-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F. If needed, broil for a few minutes to crisp the bacon.
