Creamy Baked Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound ground Italian sausage, casing removed.
02 - 16 ounces spaghetti.
03 - 2 cups heavy cream.
04 - 1 cup grated parmesan.
05 - 1 stick of butter.
06 - Salt and pepper as needed.
07 - 3 garlic cloves, minced.
08 - 24 ounces marinara sauce.
09 - 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded.

# Instructions:

01 - Warm up your oven to 350°F, then lightly coat a 9x13 dish with cooking spray.
02 - Boil spaghetti in salted water until just tender. Scoop out 1/4 cup of the water, then drain.
03 - On medium-high heat, melt butter in a big pan and cook garlic for half a minute. Pour in cream, cooking until thick. Turn off heat, stir in parmesan until melted, and season with salt and pepper.
04 - Combine cooked spaghetti with Alfredo sauce. Spread it out evenly in the dish you greased earlier.
05 - Brown the sausage in a pan, drain the fat, then mix in the marinara sauce.
06 - Pour the meat mixture on top of the Alfredo spaghetti. Sprinkle mozzarella all over.
07 - Pop it in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden. Tip: Add some parsley or basil if you'd like.

# Notes:

01 - Swap sausage for ground turkey if you want fewer calories.
02 - You can assemble it beforehand and refrigerate until ready to bake.
03 - Stores great in the freezer for 3 months tops.
04 - Divide into two smaller pans—bake one now, freeze the other for later.
