03 - 8 ounces sliced salami
04 - 8 ounces sliced roast beef or cooked ground beef
05 - 4 ounces sliced pepperoni

→ Cheese

06 - 8 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese

→ Vegetables

07 - ½ cup pickled banana peppers or pepperoncini
08 - ½ cup sautéed onions

→ Seasoning and Butter

09 - 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
10 - 2 tablespoons melted butter

# Steps:

01 - Heat oven to 375°F.
02 - Slice each hoagie roll lengthwise, making sure not to cut completely through so the rolls remain hinged.
03 - Arrange ham, salami, roast beef (or cooked ground beef), and pepperoni inside each hoagie roll.
04 - Place two slices of cheese on top of the meats in each sandwich. Add banana peppers and sautéed onions if using.
05 - Place filled sandwiches on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
06 - Brush tops of rolls with melted butter and sprinkle evenly with Italian seasoning.
07 - Cover sandwiches loosely with foil and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and fillings are heated through.
08 - Uncover and bake for another 2-3 minutes until roll tops are golden and crisp.
09 - Serve hot with chips, olives, or a fresh side salad as desired.

# Tips:

01 - Keep rolls hinged for structural integrity and easy assembly
02 - Sautéed onions add rich flavor but can be omitted for a milder taste
03 - Cover with foil first to melt cheese, then uncover to crisp the tops
04 - Use any combination of Italian deli meats based on your preferences
