Layered Beef Potato Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 yellow onion, chopped tiny.
02 - 1½ pounds of ground beef.
03 - 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese.
04 - ½ teaspoon of garlic powder.
05 - 4 pounds of russet potatoes, peeled and sliced ¼-inch thick.
06 - ½ cup regular milk.
07 - 12 oz evaporated milk.
08 - 10.75 oz condensed cheddar soup.
09 - Salt, as much as you like.
10 - Pepper, as much as you want.

# Instructions:

01 - Turn on your oven to 350°F and grease a large 9x13 pan.
02 - Cook the beef and onion together until no longer pink, then toss out the grease. Sprinkle on salt and pepper.
03 - Make four layers using potatoes, the cooked beef mixture, and cheese. Sprinkle seasoning on each layer as you go.
04 - Whisk together the condensed soup, both kinds of milk, and garlic powder until smooth.
05 - Pour your sauce over the layered casserole. Cover it tightly, bake for an hour, and then uncover to bake for 15 minutes more till golden on top.

01 - Let it sit a bit before you dig in.
02 - Good for prepping ahead of time.
03 - Be sure to slice the potatoes evenly.
