Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps (Print Format)

Crispy wraps filled with gooey cheese, garlicky chicken, and a hint of spice for an easy, hearty meal.

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 large tortillas, regular or low-carb/high-protein
02 - 7 oz cooked chicken, about 200 grams, chopped (rotisserie is great)
03 - 2 garlic cloves, minced or grated
04 - 2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
05 - 1 tablespoon light Greek yogurt or plain yogurt
06 - 2 teaspoons hot sauce, like Frank’s
07 - ¼ teaspoon salt
08 - 3 oz grated cheese, about 90 grams (cheddar blend recommended)
09 - 1 green onion, chopped
10 - Olive oil spray for cooking

# Steps:

01 - In a bowl, mix chopped chicken, garlic, mayonnaise, yogurt, hot sauce, and salt.
02 - Lay out the tortilla. On the lower third, sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of cheese, then top with about ⅔ cup of the chicken mixture. Add another tablespoon of cheese and a sprinkle of green onion. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up tightly from the bottom.
03 - Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Spray the pan with olive oil. Place wraps seam-side down and cook for 3–4 minutes per side until crispy and golden. Cover with a lid to help heat the inside.
04 - Slice the wraps in half and serve hot.

# Tips:

01 - Covering the pan while cooking helps melt the cheese and warms the filling faster.
02 - The chicken filling can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
03 - For a lighter version, reduce the amount of cheese used in the recipe.
04 - These wraps can also be cooked in an air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for about 6–8 minutes.
05 - Alternative baking method: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10–12 minutes, flipping once during cooking.
06 - The leftover filling can be repurposed for toasties, quesadillas, or stuffed baked potatoes.
07 - Store cooked wraps in the fridge for up to 2 days and reheat in a skillet or air fryer to maintain their crispiness. The filling can be frozen for up to 1 month.
08 - These wraps pair well with a crunchy salad, roasted vegetables, pickles, or a side of salsa for dipping.
