Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Rub your chicken breasts with oregano, garlic powder, sea salt, and pepper to taste on all sides.

Slice each chicken breast down the middle lengthwise, but do not cut all the way through. Create a large pocket for the fillings.

Stuff the pockets with mozzarella or provolone cheese slices, jalapeno slices, and slightly mashed blackberries. Secure with toothpicks if necessary.

Heat oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and sear until golden brown on both sides, about 4 minutes per side.

Add wine or chicken bone broth to deglaze the skillet and incorporate flavor.

Transfer the skillet to your preheated oven and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through to an internal temperature of 165°F (73.9°C).
