03 - 4 large eggs
04 - 1/2 cup whole milk

10 - 2 tablespoons bourbon
11 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
12 - Pinch of salt

# Steps:

01 - Cook bacon on a wire rack at 400°F (200°C) until crispy, about 15 minutes. Drain excess grease and chop into small pieces.

03 - Mix cream cheese with the chopped bacon until evenly combined.
04 - Cut a pocket into each slice of bread and stuff with the bacon-cream cheese mixture.
05 - Dip each stuffed bread slice into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are fully coated.
06 - In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and cook the stuffed bread slices for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
07 - In a saucepan, combine maple syrup, bourbon, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Simmer over low heat for 2 minutes until warm.
08 - Serve the French toast immediately with the warm bourbon maple glaze drizzled over the top.
