01 - 1 box German chocolate cake mix
02 - 3 eggs (as per cake box directions)
03 - 1/2 cup vegetable oil (as per cake box directions)
04 - 1/2 cup water (as per cake box directions)

→ Turtle Filling

05 - 1 bag Kraft caramels
06 - 1 stick butter
07 - 1/4 cup evaporated milk
08 - 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
09 - 1 cup pecans

→ Frosting

10 - 16-ounce can chocolate frosting

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F and spray non-stick cooking spray on a 13 x 9 inch baking dish.
02 - Prepare the cake mix by following the package directions using the provided ingredients (eggs, oil, and water).
03 - Pour half of the prepared cake batter into the greased pan and bake for 15 minutes.
04 - While the first layer bakes, melt the caramels, butter, and evaporated milk in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly.
