# Ingredients:

01 - 1/4 cup water.
02 - 1 teaspoon sea salt.
03 - 1 box brownie mix.
04 - 1/2 cup vegetable oil.
05 - 2 large eggs.
06 - 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional).
07 - 1/2 cup heavy cream (optional).
08 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional).
09 - 2 cups mini pretzels, broken into pieces.
10 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter (optional).
11 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar (optional).
12 - 1 cup caramel sauce.
13 - 1/2 teaspoon sea salt (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Set the oven to 350°F. Place parchment in a 9x9 pan.
02 - Stir together brownie mix, eggs, oil, and water until smooth. Toss in chocolate chips if you like.
03 - Spread the batter in the prepared pan and sprinkle pretzel chunks on top.
04 - Bake for 25-30 minutes. Look for moist crumbs sticking to a toothpick when done.
05 - To make caramel from scratch: Heat sugar until it changes color. Stir in butter, then slowly add cream. Finish by mixing in vanilla and salt off the heat.
06 - Let the brownies cool entirely before cutting.
07 - Pour on caramel sauce and enjoy!

# Notes:

01 - Mix pretzels of different sizes for a fun crunch.
02 - It's fine to use store-bought caramel.
03 - Stays fresh for 3 days at room temperature.
04 - Skip topping if freezing for later.
05 - Be gentle when melting sugar—avoid stirring too much.
