# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 3–4 russet potatoes, sliced into 1/4 to 1/2 inch rounds
02 - Melted butter, for brushing
03 - Salt, to taste
04 - Black pepper, to taste
05 - Shredded cheddar cheese or cheese blend
06 - Cooked bacon, crumbled
07 - Green onions, sliced
08 - Sour cream, for dipping

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash and scrub russet potatoes thoroughly. Slice into evenly sized rounds for even cooking.
02 - Arrange potato slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush each slice with melted butter. Season generously with salt and black pepper.
03 - Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 30 minutes, flipping halfway if desired, until potatoes are tender and lightly golden.
04 - Remove potatoes from the oven. Sprinkle shredded cheese, crumbled bacon, and green onions evenly over the slices.
05 - Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
06 - Remove from the oven and serve immediately with sour cream on the side for dipping.

# Tips:

01 - For extra crispiness, flip the potato slices halfway through the first baking session.
02 - Use freshly shredded cheese for better melting and creamier texture.
03 - Avoid overcrowding the baking sheet to allow air to circulate and ensure crisp edges.
