Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick spray and set it aside.

Keep the rolls connected and carefully slice them in half horizontally. Remove the top section of the buns and set it aside.

Place the bottom section of the buns in the baking dish. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella on top. Spread the pizza sauce over the mozzarella. Add 5 rows of 4 slices of pepperoni on top of the sauce. Sprinkle the remaining 1 ¼ cups of shredded mozzarella over the pepperoni.

Place the top section of the buns over the cheese layer. Use a pastry brush to coat the tops with melted butter. Sprinkle grated parmesan and dried Italian seasoning over the buttered buns.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Carefully remove the dish from the oven, slice into individual sliders, and serve while hot.
