03 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
06 - Salt to taste

→ Dough

08 - 1 package (16 ounces) refrigerated pizza dough
09 - All-purpose flour for dusting

→ Finishing

10 - 1 tablespoon olive oil for brushing
11 - 1 egg, beaten

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir until thoroughly mixed.
03 - On a lightly floured surface, roll out the refrigerated pizza dough into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick. Cut into 4 equal squares.
04 - Place about ⅓ cup of the chicken Alfredo mixture in the center of each dough square.
05 - Fold dough squares over the filling to create pockets. Press edges firmly to seal and crimp with a fork if desired.
06 - Brush tops of calzones with olive oil. Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush egg wash over the calzones for a golden finish.
07 - Arrange calzones in the air fryer basket in a single layer with space between each. Cook for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
08 - Remove calzones from air fryer and allow to cool for one minute before serving.

# Tips:

01 - Ensure calzone edges are tightly sealed to prevent filling from leaking during air frying
02 - Use rotisserie chicken for convenience or cook and shred chicken breasts ahead of time
03 - Don't overfill calzones or they may burst open while cooking
04 - Let calzones cool briefly before eating as the filling will be very hot
