Honey Pepper Chicken Mac (Print Format)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 ounces of elbow macaroni.
02 - 2 chicken breasts, boneless.
03 - 1/2 cup of sweet honey.
04 - A tablespoon of olive oil.
05 - 1/4 cup soy sauce, low sodium if preferred.
06 - 2 cups of sharp cheddar cheese, shredded.
07 - 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour.
08 - 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar.
09 - 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper.
10 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder.
11 - 1/4 teaspoon crushed cayenne pepper.
12 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
13 - 2 cups of milk, whole or 2%.
14 - 1 cup mozzarella, shredded.
15 - 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted.
16 - A handful of parsley, chopped.

# Steps:

01 - Sprinkle salt and pepper on the chicken. Heat oil in a pan and cook each side for about seven minutes until it's done.
02 - Mix honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and spices in a pan. Let it simmer and thicken up before adding sliced chicken.
03 - Cook the macaroni in salted water until tender. Follow the directions on the box for timing.
04 - Melt butter, stir in flour, then slowly pour in milk while stirring. Once thick, add cheeses and season as needed.
05 - Combine the creamy cheese sauce with the macaroni. Place the chicken on top and sprinkle parsley to finish.
