Chili Cheese Potato Skillet (Print Format)

# Ingredients:

01 - 5 small to medium potatoes
02 - 1 lb ground beef
03 - 1 onion, chopped
04 - 10 oz can diced tomatoes and green chiles, drained
05 - 15.5 oz can chili beans, drained
06 - 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
07 - 2 green onions, chopped

08 - olive oil
09 - salt and pepper
10 - garlic powder
11 - paprika
12 - 2 tsp chili powder
13 - 1 tsp onion powder
14 - 1 tbsp minced garlic

→ Optional Garnishes

15 - sour cream
16 - jalapeños

# Steps:

01 - Peel, wash, and chop the potatoes into cubes. Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
02 - Place the potatoes in an air fryer and cook at 200°C (400°F) for approximately 25 minutes, shaking them a couple of times during cooking.
03 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and chopped onion. Cook until browned, then season with chili powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
04 - Add minced garlic, diced tomatoes and green chiles, and chili beans to the skillet. Stir everything and simmer for 5 minutes.
05 - Add the crispy potatoes to the skillet and stir to combine. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
06 - Place the skillet in an oven preheated to 200°C (400°F) for a few minutes, until the cheese has melted.
07 - Top with chopped green onions. Optionally, serve with sour cream and jalapeños.

# Tips:

01 - If you don't have an air fryer, bake the potatoes on a sheet pan in an oven at 200°C (400°F) for 25-30 minutes.
