01 -
Use a mixing bowl to beat softened butter together with brown sugar until it becomes fluffy and light. Pour in the vanilla and add the salt, mixing well until blended.
02 -
Stir the heat-treated flour into the mixture bit by bit until it’s just combined. Mix in the milk to create a smooth dough.
03 -
Carefully stir the chocolate chips into the dough, making sure they’re evenly spread.
04 -
Scoop the dough into little balls about one tablespoon each. Arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, then chill in the fridge for 30 minutes until firm.
05 -
In a microwavable bowl, combine the chocolate chips and (if you want) coconut oil. Heat in 20-second intervals, stirring each time, until it’s all melted and smooth.
06 -
Take the chilled dough balls and dip halfway into the melted chocolate. Let any extra drip off, then set them back onto the lined sheet. Sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top if you’d like.
07 -
Let the chocolate coating harden completely at room temperature. Or, refrigerate the bites if you want the coating to set more quickly. Enjoy them once ready!
