Chocolate Lava Brownie Cookies (Print Format)

Rich chocolate cookies with gooey molten centers and a soft brownie texture in each bite.

# Ingredients:

01 - ½ cup unsalted butter
02 - 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
03 - ½ cup granulated sugar
04 - ½ cup brown sugar, packed
05 - 2 large eggs
06 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
07 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
08 - ¼ cup cocoa powder
09 - 1 tsp baking powder
10 - ½ tsp salt
11 - Additional chocolate chips for filling

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Melt the unsalted butter and semi-sweet chocolate chips together until smooth. Let the mixture cool slightly.
03 - In a large bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Add the cooled chocolate mixture and stir to combine. Sift in the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Fold the mixture until fully combined.
04 - Chill the dough for 15 minutes in the refrigerator. Form the dough into balls, insert extra chocolate chips into the center of each, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
05 - Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes, or until the tops are glossy and cracked. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

# Tips:

01 - Chill the dough to ensure the cookies hold their shape and achieve a molten center.
02 - Use high-quality chocolate for the richest flavor.
