                Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a glass or ceramic baking dish (7x9 or 9x11 works). Separate the biscuits in half. Line the bottom halves into the dish and set the top halves aside. Bake for 5 minutes to begin cooking.

                Sauté chopped onion with a little oil in a medium pan over medium heat for about 5 minutes, or until softened. Add ground beef, chop and cook thoroughly until browned, then drain excess grease.

                Season the cooked beef mixture with salt, pepper, garlic powder, or any preferred spices. Montreal Steak seasoning is recommended.

                Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly over the baked biscuit bottoms. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef. Place the uncooked biscuit tops directly over the cheese.
              
              
              
                05 - 
                Return the dish to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the biscuit tops are golden brown. Serve alone or with cheeseburger condiments and toppings of choice.
