Cookie Dough Pudding (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter.
02 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
03 - 2 tablespoons cornstarch.
04 - 1-2 cups mini chocolate chips.
05 - 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed).
06 - 2 cups whole milk.
07 - 1/4 teaspoon salt.
08 - Optional: Little chocolate chip cookies for topping.

# Instructions:

01 - In a pan, combine salt, cornstarch, and brown sugar.
02 - Add the milk while whisking until the mixture is smooth.
03 - Keep stirring over medium-low heat until it starts thickening, about 5-7 minutes.
04 - Take it off the burner, then stir in butter and vanilla until fully mixed.
05 - Move it to your serving dish.
06 - Lay plastic wrap directly on top of the pudding's surface.
07 - Pop it in the fridge to cool for a couple of hours.
08 - Right before eating, toss in the chocolate chips.
09 - Optional: Garnish with tiny cookies if you want to get fancy.
