01 -
Boil 16 oz of spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
02 -
In a large pan, brown the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove it with a slotted spoon and set aside. Drain all but 1 tablespoon of the bacon grease.
03 -
In the reserved bacon grease, sauté the diced onion for about 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, approximately 1-2 minutes.
04 -
Add the ground beef to the pan and cook until fully browned. Drain excess grease if needed.
05 -
Mix in the diced tomatoes, chili beans, diced chilies (optional), tomato sauce, beef broth, and all seasonings. Stir well, cover, and simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
06 -
Turn off the heat, add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce, and mix in half of the cooked bacon thoroughly.
07 -
Serve the spaghetti with grated cheddar cheese and the remaining bacon on top. Enjoy!
