Preheat oven to 375F.

Pour the chicken, bacon, green onions, cheddar soup, cream of bacon soup, ranch dressing mix, salt, and pepper into a large mixing bowl. Stir well.

Add the shredded cheddar cheese to the bowl and stir well again.

Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.

Unroll 1 sheet of crescent dough and place it in the bottom of the baking dish. Press the dough out to cover the bottom of the dish and part way up the sides of the dish.

Pour the chicken mixture over the crescent dough in the baking dish and spread it out evenly.

Unroll the second sheet of crescent dough and gently stretch it to cover the chicken mixture in the baking dish. Press the dough down all around the edges of the dish to meet up with the bottom layer of crescent dough.

Place the baking dish in the oven and bake until the crescent dough is nicely browned all across the top. 27 - 32 minutes.

Remove the dish from the oven and allow the casserole to rest for a few minutes. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
