Creamy Chicken Orzo (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped.
02 - ½ cup of dry white wine.
03 - 1 cup of heavy whipping cream.
04 - 2 tablespoons of butter.
05 - 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
06 - ½ teaspoon of oregano, dried.
07 - ⅓ cup of sun-dried tomatoes, chopped.
08 - ¼ teaspoon of crushed red chili flakes.
09 - 1 tablespoon of tomato paste.
10 - 1½ cups of chicken stock.
11 - 1 cup of orzo, uncooked.
12 - 2 cups of chicken, shredded and pre-cooked.
13 - Fresh basil, torn into small pieces.
14 - ½ cup of parmesan cheese, freshly grated.

# Instructions:

01 - Toast orzo, garlic, tomato paste, sun-dried tomatoes, oregano, chili flakes, butter, and oil for 2-3 minutes on medium heat.
02 - Pour in the wine and let it bubble for about a minute. Add cream and chicken broth, then cook for 10 minutes, remembering to stir often.
03 - Mix in parmesan, basil, and shredded chicken. Cover and let it sit for 3-5 minutes until the mixture thickens up.

# Notes:

01 - You might need more liquid as it cooks, so add as necessary.
02 - Keep stirring often to stop anything from sticking to the pan.
03 - Switch out the wine for extra broth if you'd like.
