Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken (Print Format)

Tender chicken in creamy garlic parmesan sauce makes a hearty and comforting main course for any night.

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1 teaspoon minced garlic
04 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
05 - 1 ½ cups chicken broth
06 - ½ cup heavy whipping cream
07 - 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
08 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
09 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
10 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
11 - 1 teaspoon paprika
12 - 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
13 - 1 ½ tablespoons all-purpose flour
14 - ½ cup bacon bits (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Slice the chicken breasts in half horizontally to form chicken cutlets. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil on both sides, then season both sides with onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, and seasoned salt.
02 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Place the chicken in the skillet and sear for 6-7 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
03 - Reduce the heat to low and add the butter to the same skillet, leaving the seasoning from the chicken in the pan. Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds or until fragrant. Stir in the flour, cooking for 2-3 minutes.
04 - Add chicken broth, heavy whipping cream, and parmesan cheese to the skillet. Stir consistently until the mixture comes to a simmer and the cheese is fully melted.
05 - Return the chicken cutlets to the skillet and top with bacon bits if desired. Serve with the garlic parmesan sauce drizzled over the top.

# Tips:

01 - For extra flavor, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.
