Creamy Pan Fried Chicken (Print Format)

01 - 1 lb chicken breast
02 - Salt, to taste
03 - Pepper, to taste
04 - Garlic powder, to taste
05 - 1 cup flour
06 - 2 tbsp butter
07 - 2 tbsp olive oil
08 - 2 tbsp minced garlic
09 - 2 tbsp flour
10 - 1 cup chicken broth
11 - 1 cup heavy whipping cream
12 - 1/2 tsp salt
13 - 1/2 tsp pepper
14 - 1 tsp garlic powder
15 - 1 tsp smoked paprika
16 - 1 tsp onion powder

# Steps:

01 - Butterfly the chicken breasts and season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
02 - In a container, combine 1 cup of flour with additional salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
03 - Dredge the chicken breasts in the flour and seasoning mixture.
04 - Heat a skillet over medium heat. Melt butter and olive oil, then fry the chicken until golden brown on both sides and the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (74°C).
05 - Remove the cooked chicken from the skillet and set aside.
06 - In the hot skillet, combine minced garlic and flour. Stir until thickened, then add chicken broth and heavy cream while stirring continuously.
07 - Add 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp smoked paprika, and 1 tsp onion powder. Stir constantly until the mixture is smooth.
08 - Pour the gravy over the chicken and serve warm.
