# Ingredients:

→ Essentials

01 - 2 packages of ready-to-bake crescent dough
02 - 8 ounces ham slices (about half a pound)
03 - 8 ounces salami slices (about half a pound)
04 - 8 ounces provolone slices (about half a pound)
05 - 1/2 cup of pepperoni slices
06 - 1/2 cup banana peppers, well-drained
07 - 1/2 cup roasted red pepper strips, thoroughly drained
08 - 1 tablespoon dried Italian herbs
09 - 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan
10 - 1/4 cup olive oil for brushing
11 - Optional: tomato and lettuce slices for serving

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and let it warm up.
02 - Take one can of crescent dough, roll it out, and press it gently into a greased 9×13-inch pan. Make sure to seal the seams and let the edges of the dough slightly climb the sides of the pan.
03 - Place half of the ham, salami, and provolone slices neatly over the dough base.
04 - Spread the roasted peppers, banana rings, and pepperoni slices evenly on top of the meat and cheese.
05 - Lightly sprinkle the Italian herbs over the layer of peppers and meat.
06 - Add the rest of the salami, ham, and provolone slices on top of the seasoned peppers.
07 - Take the second package of crescent dough, unroll it, and carefully lay it over the casserole filling. Seal the edges firmly to lock everything in.
08 - Brush a thin layer of olive oil over the top dough, then sprinkle on Parmesan cheese.
09 - Slide the pan into your preheated oven and let it bake for 25–30 minutes until the crust is golden and crispy, and the filling is bubbling.
10 - Let the dish cool off for a few minutes before cutting it into squares or slices. If you'd like, pair it with fresh tomato and lettuce to serve.

# Tips:

01 - Leftovers should be stored in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Warm it in the oven or the microwave when you're ready to eat.
02 - To freeze it, wait until the crescent bake has cooled. Wrap it in plastic, then in foil, and label it with the date. It stays good frozen for a month. Let it defrost overnight in the fridge.
03 - Make sure the edges of the crescent dough are pressed down fully. This helps to keep everything inside while it's baking.
04 - Spread the meat, cheese, and peppers equally to guarantee every piece tastes the same.
