In a medium bowl, gently combine softened cream cheese with crab meat. Fold in green onions, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce until evenly incorporated, preserving some crab texture.

Lay wonton wrappers flat on a clean surface. Spoon approximately 1 teaspoon of filling into the center of each wrapper.
03 -
Moisten the edges of each wrapper with water. Fold diagonally to form a triangle or bring all four corners to the center and pinch to create a pouch. Press edges firmly to seal without trapping air.
04 -
Pour oil to a depth of at least 2 inches in a deep pot or fryer. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) using a thermometer to maintain accuracy.
05 -
Fry 4 to 5 wontons at a time in hot oil for 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown and crisp. Use a slotted spoon to turn midway for even frying. Maintain oil temperature between batches.
06 -
Remove wontons from oil and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped chives or cilantro if desired, alongside preferred dipping sauces.
