Creamy cheesecake bars topped with buttery crust and drizzled with sweet caramel for a rich, indulgent treat.

# Ingredients:

→ Crust

01 - 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
02 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1/2 cup melted butter

→ Filling

04 - 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
05 - 1 cup granulated sugar
06 - 1 cup sour cream
07 - 3 large eggs
08 - 1 tsp vanilla extract

→ Topping

09 - 1/2 cup caramel sauce
10 - 1/4 cup sea salt (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
02 - In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to create an even crust.
03 - In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese and 1 cup granulated sugar until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
04 - Add sour cream, eggs, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture. Beat until fully combined and smooth.
05 - Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust and spread it evenly.
06 - Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center has a slight jiggle. Turn off the oven and allow the bars to cool inside with the door ajar for 1 hour.
07 - Refrigerate the bars for a minimum of 4 hours or preferably overnight to fully set.
08 - Before serving, drizzle caramel sauce over the bars and sprinkle sea salt if desired.
09 - Cut into squares and enjoy the creamy, caramel-flavored bars.

# Tips:

01 - Use fully softened cream cheese to ensure a smooth filling without lumps.
02 - Avoid overbaking; the center should retain a slight jiggle when removed from the oven.
03 - Cooling the bars in the oven with the door ajar helps prevent cracks on the surface.
04 - For a firmer texture, chill overnight before slicing.
05 - Store leftovers in an airtight container refrigerated for up to 5 days.
