01 - 1 cup self-rising flour
02 - 1 cup white sugar
03 - 1 cup milk (2% or higher fat content preferred)
04 - 6 tablespoons salted butter, melted
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 2 cups fresh blueberries

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9×9-inch square baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
02 - In a medium-sized bowl, combine the self-rising flour and 1 cup of sugar. Mix in the milk and melted butter until a smooth batter forms.
03 - Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. Evenly distribute the fresh blueberries on top.
04 - Sprinkle the blueberries with the remaining sugar to create a crispy, sweet topping.
05 - Place the dish on the middle rack of the oven and bake uncovered for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

# Tips:

01 - For best results, use fresh blueberries. Frozen blueberries may release excess water, affecting texture.
02 - If you don’t have self-rising flour, mix 1 cup of all-purpose flour with 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
