Peanut butter balls dipped partly in chocolate for a sweet and salty combo. Perfect snackable treats for chocolate and peanut butter lovers.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup room-temp unsalted butter.
02 - 2 cups smooth peanut butter (avoid natural kinds).
03 - 1 1/4 tsp vanilla extract.
04 - 1/4 tsp fine salt.
05 - 2 tbsp packed light brown sugar.
06 - 3 1/4 cups powdered sugar (confectioners').
07 - 1 tsp shortening or coconut oil.
08 - 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips.

# Steps:

01 - Mix the butter and peanut butter till smooth.
02 - Stir in salt, brown sugar, and vanilla.
03 - Slowly mix in the powdered sugar until it all comes together.
04 - Scoop out and roll into balls about the size of a tablespoon.
05 - Pop them in the freezer for 15 to 20 minutes.
06 - Heat the chocolate chips and oil in quick bursts of 25 seconds.
07 - Dip the balls in chocolate using toothpicks, leaving a small top section uncovered.
08 - Cover up the toothpick holes to smooth it out.
09 - Let the chocolate firm up before serving.

# Tips:

01 - It's okay to skip brown sugar if texture worries you.
02 - Stick to regular peanut butter, not the natural sort.
03 - Melting wafers can replace chocolate chips if needed.
04 - These freeze great for several months.
