Rinse mushrooms and cut them into slices.

Finely chop the onions and prepare the minced garlic.

In a big soup pot, melt the butter on medium heat.

Toss in onions and garlic, cooking until they're soft.

Add the mushrooms with thyme and mix well.

Cook for 5-7 minutes, waiting for the moisture to come out of the mushrooms.

Sprinkle the flour into the pot and give it a good stir.

While stirring, slowly pour in the broth.

Keep cooking until the mixture becomes thicker.

Pour in the heavy cream and mix it together.

Gently simmer for another 5-7 minutes.

Sprinkle in some salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley, and enjoy it warm.
