# Ingredients:

01 - 2½ cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1 tbsp granulated sugar
03 - 1½ tbsp baking powder

→ Wet Ingredients

04 - 1¾ cups buttermilk
05 - ½ cup melted salted butter

06 - 2½ cups diced ham (½-inch cubes)
07 - 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, and baking powder.
03 - Pour in buttermilk, and stir gently until a thick, sticky batter forms. Add more buttermilk if needed.
04 - Fold in diced ham and shredded cheddar until evenly distributed.
05 - Pour melted butter into the prepared pan, coating the bottom.
06 - Spread the dough evenly in the pan.
07 - Using a knife, score the dough into 9 equal squares.
08 - Bake for 25-30 minutes, rotating halfway through. Cover with foil if the biscuits are browning too quickly.
09 - Allow the biscuits to cool for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm with butter or honey!
