03 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
04 - 2 teaspoons hot sauce
05 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
06 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
07 - 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
08 - 1/2 cup water

→ For Frying

09 - Vegetable oil for frying (you’ll need enough to make about 2 inches of oil in a big pot)

# Instructions:

01 - Fill a large, sturdy pot with oil until it’s about 2 inches deep. Turn the heat to medium-high, and let it warm up to 375°F. To be sure, check the temperature using a kitchen thermometer.
02 - As the oil heats up, combine the flour, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish or on a plate. Mix it together well.
03 - Pour the hot sauce and water into the dry mix, stirring until the mixture is completely smooth. This will be the batter for your pickles.
04 - Dip the pickle slices into the batter. Make sure they’re covered all over before frying.
05 - Carefully place the coated pickle slices into the hot oil, one at a time. Fry them in small amounts (too many at once will make it harder for them to cook right) for 1-2 minutes per side, or until they’re crunchy and gold-colored.
06 - Use a slotted spoon to take out the fried pickles. Set them on some paper towels so the extra grease soaks off. Serve them while they’re still warm with a dipping sauce you love.

# Notes:

01 - Make sure the pickle slices are completely dried beforehand—this helps the batter stick nicely.
02 - These taste best when they’re eaten fresh and hot!
03 - Dipping choices like ranch dressing, spicy mayo, or remoulade go great with these.
