Set the oven to 350°F. Coat a 13x9 pan lightly with grease.

Beat together vanilla, sugar, and eggs for a couple of minutes until light and bubbly. Add in the oil and salt next, then stir in the flour last.

Gently mix the chopped pecans into the batter. Pour the mixture into your greased pan.

Bake for 30-40 minutes at 350°F. The edges should brown, and the center should firm up.

Let it cool in the pan, then divide it into 24 pieces. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if you'd like.
