01 - 3 cups of potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
02 - 1 pound of ground beef, lean
03 - ¾ cup of milk
04 - 1 cup of Cheddar cheese, shredded
05 - ½ cup of onion, chopped
06 - A dash of salt and black pepper

# Steps:

01 - Turn on your oven and set it to 350°F (175°C).

04 - Place alternating layers of the potato slices, ground beef, and soup mix in a 2-quart casserole dish.
05 - Pop the dish into the preheated oven and bake for about 60–90 minutes, or until the potatoes are soft.
06 - Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top and bake for a few more minutes, just until it’s melted and bubbly.

# Tips:

01 - Toss in peas or thinly sliced carrots for extra veggies.
02 - For a creamier twist, try using roasted garlic mushroom soup.
03 - Store leftovers in the fridge for up to three days.
