Egg Bites Sausage (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 3/4 cups plain flour
02 - 2 teaspoons of baking powder
03 - 2 tablespoons melted salted butter
04 - 1 pound breakfast sausage, ground
05 - 6 eggs, large size
06 - 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar
07 - 1 can (7 oz) of diced green chilis

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F and let it heat up.
02 - Warm a skillet over medium heat. Break apart the sausage as it cooks for 5 minutes or until it's browned. Let it rest for 10 minutes off the heat.
03 - Put melted butter, sausage, and eggs into a large bowl. Use a whisk to stir thoroughly.
04 - Sprinkle baking powder and flour into the bowl. Mix gently, checking there aren't any dry spots.
05 - Stir cheese and green chilis into the batter until they're mixed in evenly.
06 - Scoop batter onto a baking pan (making 12 portions). Pop into the oven for 10 minutes, cooking until the centers are solid.
