→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 Large Yellow Onion, sliced
02 - 2 Large Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts, sliced thinly
03 - 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
04 - 3 tablespoons Butter
05 - ¼ cup All Purpose Flour
06 - 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
07 - 2 cups Beef Broth
08 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
09 - 1 packet Beefy Onion Soup Mix
10 - 2 teaspoons Seasoned Salt
11 - 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
12 - 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
13 - Black Pepper, to taste

# Steps:

01 - Slice each chicken breast into thin cutlets, then drizzle lightly with olive oil and rub it into both sides. In a small bowl, combine the seasoned salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper. Generously season the chicken on both sides.
02 - Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken cutlets for about 4–5 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through to 165°F. Remove and set aside.
03 - Lower the heat to medium-low and add 2 teaspoons of olive oil and the butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add in the onions and stir to coat. Cook slowly for 25–30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onions are caramelized and golden brown.
04 - Sprinkle the flour over the onions and stir to combine. Cook for 2–3 minutes to remove the raw flour taste, then whisk in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and beefy onion soup mix. Let it simmer until thickened.

# Tips:

01 - Caramelizing onions slowly develops a deep, rich flavor essential to this dish.
