In a large skillet, set to medium-high heat, toss in half the butter and let it fully melt.

Mix garlic, honey, and soy sauce into the melted butter. Stir the mixture occasionally for 1-2 minutes until it starts to thicken a bit. Pour into a small dish and set aside.

Put half of the shrimp in the pan. Sear one side for 2 minutes, flip them over, and cook until they turn pink and form a C-shape, about 1-2 more minutes. Remove them to a separate plate.

Add the rest of the butter to the pan. Once melted, cook the final batch of shrimp the same way. Toss the first batch back in and pour the sauce over everything, stirring to coat evenly.

To finish, drizzle lime juice over the shrimp if you'd like. Sprinkle with green onions or sesame seeds for extra flavor. Serve right away while hot.
