Garlic Butter Shrimp (Print Format)

Tender shrimp cooked in a rich, sweet garlic butter sauce. It’s a quick, one-pan meal perfect for a busy evening.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 3 tablespoons soy sauce (use gluten-free as needed)
02 - 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
03 - 1½ pounds large shrimp, deveined, shells removed, tails optional
04 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
05 - 4 tablespoons honey (or swap with sugar-free maple syrup for keto or low carb)

→ Optional Garnishes

06 - 1-2 teaspoons sesame seeds
07 - 1 lime, squeezed
08 - ⅛ teaspoon red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce for heat
09 - 1-2 tablespoons diced green onions

# Steps:

01 - In a large skillet, set to medium-high heat, toss in half the butter and let it fully melt.
02 - Mix garlic, honey, and soy sauce into the melted butter. Stir the mixture occasionally for 1-2 minutes until it starts to thicken a bit. Pour into a small dish and set aside.
03 - Put half of the shrimp in the pan. Sear one side for 2 minutes, flip them over, and cook until they turn pink and form a C-shape, about 1-2 more minutes. Remove them to a separate plate.
04 - Add the rest of the butter to the pan. Once melted, cook the final batch of shrimp the same way. Toss the first batch back in and pour the sauce over everything, stirring to coat evenly.
05 - To finish, drizzle lime juice over the shrimp if you'd like. Sprinkle with green onions or sesame seeds for extra flavor. Serve right away while hot.

# Tips:

01 - Great as a starter dish (keep tails on) or entree (remove tails if preferred)
02 - Tastes amazing with noodles, rice, bread, steamed veggies, pasta, tortillas, or cauliflower rice
03 - For a low carb or keto style, replace honey with a sugar-free option like maple syrup
04 - Keep leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or in the freezer for 2 months
