# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 4 hamburger buns
02 - 8 slices of American cheese
03 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter
04 - 2 teaspoons fresh minced garlic
05 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
06 - 1/4 teaspoon onion salt
07 - 1 teaspoon black pepper
08 - 1 1/2 teaspoons table salt
09 - 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef chuck

# Steps:

01 - Pop the butter and minced garlic into a small pan. Let it warm up on the stove for about 3–5 minutes until it smells amazing.
02 - Roll the ground meat into 8 even portions. Mix the onion salt, garlic salt, black pepper, and regular salt in a little bowl to season your burgers.
03 - Use the basting brush to coat the buns with the garlic butter you made. Cook them on a hot pan until they crisp up and turn golden.
04 - Take each beef ball, add a tiny drizzle of garlic butter, and sprinkle garlic salt on top. On a preheated grill or skillet set to medium-high, press each ball with a spatula into a flat patty. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture onto the patties while cooking. When one side is done, flip it and lay a cheese slice on top.
05 - Stack two patties on top of one another, making doubles. Place them on your toasted buns, and pile on whatever toppings you like.

# Tips:

01 - 80/20 ground beef is the way to go if you want juicy burgers.
02 - Swap out American cheese for your favorite kind of cheese if you'd rather.
03 - You can prep the garlic butter in advance and store it in the fridge until you need it.
