# Ingredients:

01 - 4 tablespoons of butter, unsalted.
02 - 4 garlic cloves, minced finely.
03 - 2 teaspoons of a mix of Italian herbs.
04 - 4 tablespoons of plain flour.
05 - 2 cups of broth made from vegetables.
06 - 3/4 cup of heavy cream.
07 - 8 oz Parmesan cheese, freshly shredded.
08 - 1 tablespoon of parsley, chopped fresh.
09 - Salt (kosher) to your taste.
10 - Freshly ground black pepper to your liking.

# Instructions:

01 - Put butter in a big pan and let it melt over low-medium heat.
02 - Toss in the minced garlic, stir in the herb mix, and season lightly with salt and pepper. Give it a quick stir and cook for 60 seconds.
03 - Add the flour, sprinkle it evenly, and whisk well to combine. Let it cook for an extra 60 seconds.
04 - Pour in the veggie broth a little at a time while whisking constantly to keep it smooth.
05 - Let it simmer gently for a couple of minutes until it starts getting thick.
06 - Mix in the heavy cream, toss in Parmesan, and sprinkle the parsley. Stir until it's nicely blended.
07 - Keep cooking it on a low flame, stirring often, until it reaches the thickness you like.
08 - Taste it, adjust the salt and pepper if needed, and you're good to go.
